If you agree NC's General Assembly needs more builders and business owners, could you make a #GivingTuesdayNow donation today to help me #WinforNC?

Many of us are looking forward to a return to some normalcy this weekend, which is when North Carolina is scheduled to enter the first phase of a three-part reopening plan:

  1. Phase 1: Scheduled to begin May 8th and includes the re-opening of parks.
  2. Phase 2: After two weeks, we're expected to lift the stay-at-home order, and allow restaurants to open.
  3. Phase 3: After another four to six weeks, we're scheduled to remove caps on gatherings and reopen small businesses.

While we'll have more details about our state's actual reopening schedule later this week, we must begin the hard work of rebuilding North Carolina and its economy.

NC has the 9th largest economy in the US. For that to continue, our government should work alongside small businessmen and women so that they can thrive and provide jobs to spur economic growth. As a small business owner, I know what it's like to get a business off the ground, and I want to help eliminate as many obstacles as possible so that entrepreneurs can flourish.

My track record as a builder, small business owner, and community developer shows that I know what it takes to help rebuild our economy to #WinForNC.

Whether it's fighting for the reduction of wait times to get business permits, working to bring broadband access to our rural communities, or advocating for increased technical training, we need an individual representing NC House District 7 who can develop bold solutions and innovative ideas that help our economy recover and rebuild.

We need someone who knows how to build. As your NC District 7 representative, I will do just that. I will bring a lifetime's worth of building and business experience to rebuild NC District 7 post-COVID-19—and rebuild it stronger than ever.

Friend, if you agree that we need more builders, business men, and problem solvers—not career politicians—in the General Assembly, will you consider making a #GivingTuesdayNow donation today to our campaign to help rebuild our state to #WinForNC?

PS: Today also marks National Teacher's Appreciation Day. As the husband of a teacher, I want to extend my deepest gratitude to all the teachers out there who serve to educate our children. Thank you.
