It is with great excitement that I share with you my upcoming plans of running for the North Carolina House of Representatives, District 7. When Lisa Barnes decided to run for Senate and called to ask me to replace her, I knew this was an opportunity I needed to take.

I am proud to call North Carolina my home state. Growing up in humble beginnings, I understand the importance of hard work. I am a builder and a problem solver. When Youngsville needed help revitalizing their downtown, I rolled up my sleeves and got to work, repurposing and remodeling several commercial buildings.

The same goes for my campaign. This isn’t something I take lightly. Over the past two months, I’ve put together my campaign team and began raising money. In 2020 the Democrats want nothing more than to take back control of the General Assembly. So I have to raise the funds necessary to ensure we get our conservative message to the voters in the district.

As a small business owner, I understand the importance of lowering taxes, reducing regulations and making sure we keep our schools and community safe. As a businessman, I will take this work experience to the legislature and focus on the priorities of the people in Franklin and Nash Counties. The legislature needs to be made up of people with real life business experience, not career politicians.

But I cannot win this race without the support of the people in and out of the district. That is why I am asking for you to invest in my campaign today. I do not take this lightly, and I promise to spend every penny raised wisely. The 2020 Elections have too much at stake for us to rest.

I have been extremely humbled by the support I’ve received this far – but we can take nothing for granted this election. I hope I can count on you for this important endeavor.

{{recipient.first_name_or_friend}}, if you support a campaign focused on helping the 7th district #WinForNC, will you consider making a needed donation today of $100, $250, $500, or any other amount you can give?

If you are unable to make a donation, could I personally ask you to help me keep up our winning momentum by visiting this page and taking seven steps to help us spread the word?
