It was a pleasure to tour the recently restored Sterling Mills Cotton Plant in Franklinton today. It took 2 years and an 11 million dollar investment to remodel the old cotton mill into apartments. They did a great job keeping the heritage of the building and turning an abandoned factory into a beautiful addition to Franklin County.

We held our Franklin County Economic Development Committee meeting at the Sterling Mills apartments today. It's a great honor to be able to serve as the chair of such a wonderful committee that is helping businesses win in NC House District 7.
