Because of his life experiences, Matt has always given back to his community by serving at church, adopting local public schools, partnering with Wake County Habitat for Humanity, The Education Foundation, and Homes for Hope. As a proponent of supporting the local community, Matt has invested in his community by purchasing and restoring downtown buildings to help revitalize the area. For his exceptional leadership skills, he was named C12’s Member of the Year. For the past five years, Matt’s company, Winslow Homes has been voted The Wake Weekly’s Best of the Best for Local Builder, and a WRAL Viewer’s Choice Best Builder. Married to his high school sweetheart, Matthew lives on a farm in Franklin County with his wife, Marquita, their kids, Delaney and Hudson, and two super spoiled rescues that are more like family than pets.
